Essay

Dissertation covers issues of ethnology on the pages of Ukrainian periodicals during the years of Ukraine's independence. The influence of historical events on the development of ethnological periodicals is shown on the analysis of a wide range of sources. Considered the coverage of main problems of ethnology, main concepts and discussions which are at the centre of debates in Ukrainian scientific periodicals. Analyzed present printed editions which cover ethnological themes, the state of scientific researches, compared the quality and effectives of various journals' work. Shown the problems of perspective researches in covering the issues of ethnology on the pages of scientific and popular scientific journals.
