Margitich K. Preparing elementary school teachers for national awareness formation with junior schoolchildren in the secondary schools of Transcarpathia with Hungarian as the language of instruction

The dissertation carries out a research on theoretical and methodological principles of preparing elementary school teachers for formation of national self-awareness with junior schoolchildren in the secondary schools of Transcarpathia with Hungarian as the language of instruction. The general structure and content of the teacher's readiness to formulate the national self-awareness of the junior schoolchildren was defined. In addition, research methods of self-awareness development levels were worked out. It was substantiated that preparing primary school teachers in institutions of higher education for the formation of national self-awareness of the young learners is efficient on condition that intercultural educational programs and direction of educational work will be successful and realized on principles of multicultural programs.
