The object of research is becoming and development of veterinary medicine in Ukraine. The subject of research is features of activity of scientific, educational establishments, public organizations and separate scientists in field of veterinary parasitologists from the end of XIX to the beginning XXI centuries on Kharkivschina. Tasks wich are put in research decided by the complex of historical and scientific, historical and chronological, historical and comparative, retrospective, logical methods of research, historical, system approache and other methodological tools which helped to expose the topic of dissertation.
