Shchokina O. Features of philosophic-cultural views of artists of the Ukrainian avant-garde

In the thesis philosophical views of artists of the Ukrainian avant-garde of the beginning of the 20th century expressed in texts of its brightest representatives are investigated. The attention is given to not enough studied sights of the artists-theorists, played a certain role in formation of avant-garde and the theory in Ukraine. Philosophical categories in the theory of artists of Ukraine of the beginning of the 20th century are examined. The special attention is given to the Odessa's region. Philosophic-cultural innovations and the art criticism of artists-theorists of the Ukrainian avant-garde are positioned in research as the complete system of thinking possessing the characteristic features and making considerable impact on development of modern art culture. The philosophic-cultural analysis of texts of the artists-theorists of the Ukrainian avant-garde which has given the chance to systematise their philosophical views has been carried out, for the first time to establish their uniqueness and a direct сonnection as between intuitivism, psychologism, Russian cosmism, esoterism, and national mentality to reveal new socially-philosophical roots destruktivism in their philosophical concepts, for the first time accurately to define traditional and innovative tendencies in the art criticism of Odessa of the beginning of the 20th century. Research of the texts of the artists-theorists has allowed to formulate a paradigm of new art criticism in a regional cut (Odessa).
