Melnyk M. Theatrical thematic concert as synthetic genre of the stage arts

Thesis is one of the first critical studies of the theatrical thematic concert as the synthetic genre of the stage arts. This paper examines the origin and development of the concert activities as spectacular art and the background of the formation of the professional Ukrainian direction, general and reasonably specific concert forms, such as solo and collective concerts, children records and concerts-contests. It examines the specification of the folk art concert and defines new approaches to the production and direction of the theatrical thematic concert. The lack of systematic theoretical and methodological advances in the field of specific theatrical thematic concert productions and its ideologically-aesthetic influence has become especially acute in the pop art in connection with the threat of negative influence of non-professional, bald, callous concert productions. The dangerous tendency of the formation in public consciousness the perception of new advanced technical equipment as the major components of art become the priority, which is also a negative aspect, because all these technical elements of expression are only means of decoration, not the specific message and the idea of concert activities.
