Suduk I. Comparison in texts of Ukrainian translations of the Bible.

Dissertation is devoted to the types of comparative constructions in Ukrainian translatios of the Bible. The analysis is carried out on the basis of the Ukrainian translations of the Bible made by I. Khomenko, I. Ogienko and P. Kulish - I. Puluy - I. Nechuy-Levickij. In our work classification of comparisons on the index comparison and syntactic type of construction is given, not enough investigated and unusual for Ukrainian language types of comparative constructions are considered.Translators in most cases give advantage to the conjunction indexes of comparison. It is the cause for the wide-spreading of comparative constructions with the conjunction indexes of comparison to combine subject and object of comparison of any volume, semantics and syntactic function, and also, possibly, with predominating of similar type of constructions in texts of original. In texts of classic complete Ukrainian translations of Bible development of some indexes of comparison is traced in modern Ukrainian language. Individual approach of each of translators to linguistic registration of translation is appears in the rows of indexes of comparison, peculiar only for the one of translations. Influence of texts of Bible is noticeable in predomination of those or other types of comparisons in the certain groups of books of the Bible.
