Thesis of the Candidate of agricultural science academic degree by speciality 06.01.02 - agricultural melioration (agricultural science) - Institute for Hydraulic Engineering and Land Reclamation of UAAS, Kyiv, 2009. The results of investigations on influence of water supply levels, layouts of polyethylene pipelines and fertilizers on the growth and development of plants, the dynamics of above ground and tuber mass accumulation, water and nutrition soil regimes, productivity and quality of potatoes tubers of spring and summer plantings of the "Kobza" cultivar are stated in the dissertation. It was determined the guaranteed big crops production is possible only provided keeping the water supply level for plants of 75% from calculated evapotranspiration, the N60P60K60 fertilizer application locally before planting directly into the ridges and polyethylene pipelines distribution on the surface. It was also carried out economical and energy evaluations of growing processes for the potatoes of spring and summer plantings. It has been determined that it is better to grow the potatoes using the two-yield crop method. The analysis of findings allowed to draw well-reasoned conclusions and recommendation for potatoes producers in the Steppe zone of Ukraine, who work using the drip irrigation.
