Essay

The object is writingspeech activity of pupils of an elementary school. The purpose - scientifically ground an experimental technique and pedagogic conditions of cursive writing skills development among the junior schoolchildren. Theoretical results and novelty - the experimental technique of developing cursive writing skills of the junior schoolchildren have been worked out and scientifically grounded for the first time; the criterias and indices of the skill's development have been defined. The characteristic of the following levels of the junior schoolchildren's cursive writing skills development have been described; psychological and pedagogical aspects and pedagogical conditions aimed at developing the junior schoolchildren's cursive writing skills in an effective way have been defined. Practical results and research novelty are related to possibility of using its substantive provisions for the perfection of the maintenance and the work organisation of developing cursive writing skills of the junior schoolchildren. Object and introduction degree - the experimental course "Calligraphy and speech development" is developed for the schoolchildren of 2-4 classes of an average comprehensive school. Efficiency of introduction is high. Branch is pedagogical, an elementary school.
