The linguistic-didactic principles of the interactive teaching methods' functioning at lessons of the Ukrainian language in senior forms are theoretically proved in the work in order to form linguistic, speech, communicative, sociocultural senior pupils' competence and the criteria of their selection are made, the effectiveness of the interactive teaching methods' functioning at lessons of the Ukrainian language in senior forms are experimentally examined. The special attention is given by the realization of communicative-active, cognitive, functional-stylistic, sociocultural approaches by means of the interactive teaching methods. The introduction of communicative-situational exercises as important components of the interactive teaching methods are described by means of forming of senior pupils' communicative competence.
