Essay

The dissertation lightens the methodology of forming the value guidelines with pupils in the process of teaching law studies in the 9th form of the secondary school. The theme's readiness in theory and practice is analyzed. It is found out that this problem is one of those scarcely investigated in pedagogical science. It is proved that value guidelines form the inner component of consciousnesses as well as self-consciousness. They are specific psychological guidelines to be formed through interiorization of social values by the individual. The author defines the notions of value, value guidelines, social and legal value guidelines that are formed with the pupils during the law studies lessons, the components of value guidelines. The methodology of forming social and legal value guidelines when teaching the "Basic law studies" course is provided with theoretical and experimental background.
