Katuk Y. Vokational institutions heads' professional self-consciousness development in the process of in-service training

The thesis examines the vocational institutions heads' professional self-consciousness development in the advance training process. It gives the theoretical analysis of the problem, observes and enlightens the psychological peculiarities, structure, conditions of the vocational institutions heads' professional self-consciousness development in the advance training process. It analizes the phenomenon of vocational institutions heads' professional self-consciousness and also proposes the model of their professional self-consciousness development that consists of four structural components: cognitive, emotional and evoluative, motivationally-valuable, operational. As a result of the empirical research the insufficient level of vocational institutions heads' professional self-consciousness development was revealed. It was determined that the most constructive form of psychological work with vocational institutions heads is organization of specialized course of the managers' professional.
