The dissertation is dedicated to the research of mythologem in the structure of people's traditional world view. In work is scientifically proved the concepts "mythologem", is developed the technique of mythologems's research, is traced phylogenesis, features of the contents and the organization of the mythologem "destiny". It is found out that the mythologem "destiny" is an integral part of people's traditional world view of the modern person and more than usual influences its life and personal elections. It is established, that people's traditional world view is based on a traditional world view which displays national experience and exists outside of the concrete subject. Being staticized in consciousness of the concrete individual it acts as formation which in the basis contains mythologems. In the process of the empiric research has been found out that mythologems are myths designated in consciousness. They are the form of preservation of myths at a traditional level. In essence they are archtypes, sense-shapes of the cultures in which base manuals of people are incorporated, its values, norms of behaviour, outlook, mentality, knowledge and representation about the world. A person "chooses for actualization" from a variety of an irresponsible material those mythologems which answer her personal senses and interprets the elected material on the individual way which it is possible due to features of the mythologem material which contains in the context a lot of interpretations. The basic functions of the mythologem "destiny" are determined: supports of illusion of management by life, protection from existential alarms (uncertainty, stupidity, death, loneliness), supports of illusion of the presence of the sense, the explaining function, the function of rationalization stabilizing, removal of sensation of fault and the responsibility, projective. The mechanism of actualization of mythologems in a world view is found out, and is determined, that it occurs two ways: external and internal. On the basis of the analysis of the experimentally received graphic material connection of a mythologem "destiny" with the most ancient archaic representations of mankind is found out. By the way of the empiric analysis it was possible to find out, that primarily representation about destiny has appeared in an antenatal society and developing and becoming complicated the mythologem "destiny" has got various values, such as a particle of general welfare which is adjusted by public distribution, the way is allocated in life to each person, the man or the wife - "promised" to one another, an independent essence in the insult of the girl or the boy which has influence on human life, a projection of the future and later as internal essence of the person from which it is necessary to consult. The mythologem "destiny" is symbolized by a string, a towel, spinning-wheel, stars, bread (grain), a palm, lines on a palm, a cuckoo, a spider, a web. It is located in one semantic field with concepts: court, a verdict, time, distribution, connection. On the basis of the received data the table "Time stratification of ideology - religious sights, concerned with the mythologem "destiny" " has been created. It has experimentally been confirmed: the mythologem "destiny" is the significant factor of a traditional world view of Ukrainian people though the majority of representatives of a modern society is conscious do not consider its determining factor of the life. In its basis lays dual opposition between hopelessness and freedom of a choice. It acts as specific experience of time. Thus, the carried out research testifies for the benefit of importance of studying of a mythological material which contains in consciousness of the person.
