Yurchenko A. Optimization of cultivation technology of high-quality winter wheat seeds in Central Forest-Steppe of Ukraine

Object - variability of yield, sowing quality and yield properties/ Such facts as the peculiarities of growth, development and formation of the crop and quality of seeds with different seed protectors was investigated in this thesis. It was validated the most appropriate sowing dates for seed production of winter wheat the following varieties: Mironivska 65, Zbruch, Bilotserkivska napivkarlykova, Olesya in Central Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, what make possible to receive seeds with high sowing qualities and yield properties. For the first time it was revealed variation of yield properties of reproductive seeds of winter wheat depends on sowing dates on Central Forest-Steppe. It was determined specificity for forming of yield, its structure, sowing qualities and yield properties depends on sowing dates and seed protectors. It is proved that seed treatment with fungicides protect the seeds against diseases and at the same time depress growth of embryo roots. There are established that phytosanitary condition of sown areas mostly determined by sowing dates of winter wheat and don't have direct relation for seed treatment before sowing. There are determined norm of reaction and possibilities of usage of modification variability caused by ecological and maternal plant growth conditions. Branch: seed production.
