Kustov D. Changes of Behaviour and Some Homeostasis Constants in Rats at Different Oestrous Cycle Stages, in Gonadal Deficiency and Its Correction.

Object - leucocytic formula, water-salt metabolism and grooming at sexual cycle changes. Purpose - to clarify the patterns of homeostatic and behavioural parameters' fluctuations at different oestrous cycle stages, in gonadal deficiency and after its correction. Methods - physiologic, biochemical, immunologic, histologic and cytologic, transplantation, statistic. Results - ovarian tissues culture allografting has been suggested as a correction method of neuroimmunoendocrine system disorders caused by gonadal deficiency; the constellation of the parameters studied has been proved for use as a complex criterion for the neuroimmunoendocrine system status assessment with further specification of the physiologic mechanisms of its components' cooperation. Novelty - peculiar changes in leucocytic formula, water-salt metabolism and grooming at different sexual cycle stages, after ovariectomy and further correction of gonadal deficiency by hormonal and transplantation methods have been described. Comparative analysis of ovarian insufficiency correction methods used has been performed concerning the physiologic levels recovery of the parameters studied. The advantage of ovarian tissues culture allografting has been demonstrated.
