Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the problem of psycholinguistic means of students' cognitive sphere development in the foreign language communication context. The content of such terms as "language", "speech", "cognitive sphere", and "cognitive development" is specified in the thesis. Moreover, the directions of their research in psychological and psycholinguistic domains are defined and theoretical model of students' cognitive sphere development by the psycholinguistic means is constructed. The existence of the connection among the speech and other cognitive processes in second language acquisition has been proved empirically. Experimental psycholinguistic programme of students' cognitive sphere development includes the system of psycholinguistic exercises and complex psycholinguistic training.
