Object: Zenon Kuzelya's contribution into Ukrainian ethnology in the first half of the 20th century. Aim: evaluation of Zenon Kuzelya's ethnological work on the basis of his biography, scholarly work, published and archival sources, epistolary. Methods: biographical, comparative historical, chronological, typological. Results: for the first time, the personality of Zenon Kuzelya is studied and the significance of his work in the formation of the national school of Ukrainian ethnography is proved on the basis of complex analysis of historiography and archival sources. Sphere of use: scientific, educational.
