In the given thesis the process of education is analyzed, which is carried out within institutionalized education as a specially organized, purposeful and controllable process of interaction of a teacher and a student, which is aimed at mastering knowledge, skills and abilities. The fundamental necessity of forming abilities of critical attitude to the process of mastering knowledge and skills is determined, that results in human's ability to realize, verify, improve without changing its content.
