Object - the mobility of cadmium in soils and its translocation to plants. Purpose - identify patterns of cadmiums content spatial variability in the soils of Left-bank Forest-steppe and Steppe of Ukraine, establishing the main factors that determine the mobility of this element in soil and its uptake into plant products. Methods - for research used field, laboratory and statistical methods. Theoretical results - some features of spatial distribution of content mobile and potential available cadmium's forms in the soils of the Left-bank Forest-steppe and Steppe of Ukraine are established, the influence of the main soil properties on these indicators are determined, both at nature conditions and in the influence of pollution are determined. The possibility of lateral and radial migration of cadmium in the studied soils and its accumulation in the crops are determined. Practical results - nature values of cadmium mobile and potential available forms in the soils of the studies zones of Ukraine were determined. It is established that the specific and variety crops characteristics significantly influencing on the mobility of cadmium in soil and its accumulation in plants. Novelty - influence of soil's, plant's and technogenical factors on the mobility of cadmium in soils and its translocation in plants of cereals and sunflower on uncontaminated and contaminated areas were investigated. For the first time in Forest-steppe and Steppe zones of Ukraine was compared values of the soil and plant components in this process, significantly enhance the mobility of cadmium in the soil under the influence of winter wheat were demonstrated. Degree of application - the results of the thesis are applied in the normative document 01.1-37-001:2006 Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine "Standards of cadmium content in sunflower seeds". The field is agricultural production, environmental protection.
