Essay

The main goal of the dissertation is an exploration of influence of tolerance of ambiguity for a process of the identity of personality development. The work exposes general psychological substance of tolerance of ambiguity as an integral description of personality and elaborates the theoretical sample of process of the identity development, which unites views of ecofacilitation, activity sense and psychodynamic approach. It is theoretically grounded and empirically proved, that tolerance of ambiguity is a factor of the identity of personality development. It is shown, that the meaning sphere of a personality is dynamic involved in process of interaction between tolerance of ambiguity and identity development. The facts about alteration dynamics and specific character of correlation of tolerance of ambiguity and identity in different stages of its development were obtained. The authorial sample of measuring of tolerance of ambiguity and identity was worked and tested. The successful approval of the training, directing tolerance of ambiguity development was put into practice.
