Perepyolkin S. International Law Aspects of Customs Cooperation of European States

The dissertation is devoted to complex research of the theory and practice of customs cooperation of the European region member states of the World Customs Organization under conditions of European integration. The author studies the genesis of European customs cooperation and shows how it is carried out at regional, subregional and bilateral levels. He pays special attention to the analysis of the processes of legal convergence of customs systems of European states, substantiates the concept of forming the single European customs area and researches the international law aspects of its creation. The proposals and recommendations as to the development of European customs cooperation and adaptation of Ukraine customs legislation to European customs norms and standards are formulated.
