Tonkikh I. Transformation of traditional plots and images in the dramatic works by M. Tsvetaeva

The dissertation deals with studying the specificity, forms and means, patterns of transforming traditional ploys and images in the dramatic works by M. Tsvetaeva. Historical and philosophic, esthetic as well as individually author's determiners of the writer neomythology are defined. Forms and means of traditional plot-and-image material interpretation in the dramatic works by M. Tsvetaeva are outlined and characterized: acseological reaccentation, the synthesis of traditional plots of different origin, radical change of structural and semantic dominants (complete revision), creating associations with other traditional images or with certain historic or mythological characters through allusions and reminiscences, inner "modernization" (psychologisation), adding to traditional plots. Explicit and implicit levels of traditional images presence in the plays are analyzed. The patterns of creative use of traditional plots and images from 1918-1919 lyrical dramas to the tragedies of the 1920ties are revealed.
