Loza P. Improvement of the testing methods of traction engines and supporting machines of the direct current electric locomotives

The dissertation is devoted to the development of theoretical and experimental methods of Acceptance Tests (AT) operation of traction electric motors of d.c. electric locomotives and improvement to testing equipment. The analytic dependence between an hourly current at which AT are carried out nowadays with full ventilation of traction engines and a current without forced ventilation, which is proposed in the work for energy and labor saving. The hourly current of ventilators is found which allows to carry out AT at heating in 60 min. as apposed to 140..160 min (long-time mode) at which these tests are carried out today. The unification principle of testing equipment and energy factor rise is offered.
