3. The thesis focuses on the international legal regulation of the integration process in the European Union. The author identifies the legal nature of the integration processes in the European Union and defines their influence on national legislation of Member States and third countries. The thesis deals with the key methods, the forms and the models of the integration process. The directions and the mechanisms of the integration processes in the EU Member States and the candidate countries have been analyzed. Besides, the legal forms of the integrational interaction between European Union and the third countries, in particular with Ukraine have been elaborated.
