Essay

The thesis is devoted to establishment the regularities of self-discourse in Pavlo Zahrebelny's historical novels. Synergetic methodology has been used according to time and space as the components of a complex nonlinear system of the novel. Integrative research methodology has been based on Synergetics, Traditional Linguistic (within its boundaries - Lexical Semantics, Functional Grammar) and Philosophy of Language. The features of time and space verbalization in the writer's idiolect have been established. The index units with temporal and spatial semantics have been clarified as the components of lingual picture of the world and the aspects of their verbalization has been explained. The features of chronotope as the unit of time and space in the historical novels by Pavlo Zahrebelny have been pointed out. The main features of time and space verbalization in the stage of homeostasis in historical novels have been investigated. The concept of zones of maximum, medium and minimum stability in the text has been described; the ability to self-language units with temporal and spatial semantics has been researched. Qualitative transformations in the discourse of historical novel based on the changes of personal / alien, open / closed space, location and movement, as well as qualitative changes in mutual linear, cyclical and historical time have been shown.
