Essay

The thesis contains the theoretical and experimental research on distinctive features of self-assessment of primary school children with different levels of academic achievements. The author reveals the peculiarities of development of the continuum of multiple self-assessment in primary school students: learning self-assessment, learning achievements assessment and retrospective self-assessment, evaluation of the image of the "Student Self, as well as assessment of the student's emotional attitude towards his/her own self in the systems "Self- Learning" and "Self- Self. Scrutinized were both constructive and destructive trends in formation of the self-assessment in primary school children with different levels of academic achievements. The author has developed and tested the program for motivating constructive tendencies in self-assessment sphere of primary school children, which improves the outcomes of the learning activity being the primary type of activity on this stage of ontogenesis.
