Essay

The thesis is devoted to scientific substantiation and experimental verification of the ways of applying a foreign language educational potential for the personality's formation of an Engineering student according to the modern social requirements and to the inner needs of a personality. The notion "professional culture" (as integrated characteristic) is defined. The structural components of an engineer professional culture have been detailed out and characterized in the thesis. In the thesis the peculiarities of the formation of professional culture in students of Engineering are analyzed, the pedagogical conditions of this formation are theoretically grounded too. The author of the dissertation generalizes the practical experience of the personality's formation of a student by means of a foreign language.
