Essay

The research of Ukrainian family-marriage relationships within legal - cultural field is carried out in ethnological context. The author is analyzing literature related to Ukrainians' common rights, identifying and comparing the main aspects of people's common right in historical resources, ethnologists, literary works, trial documents and archives, as well as folkloric and literary masterpieces. Peculiarity of family-marriage relationships within legal culture at different levels of social and legal reality, as well as at an individuals level in Ukraine of 16 - 18 centuries is being identified and described.
