Essay

The object of the research is the second language oral speech training of the becoming English language teachers. The aim of the research is the pedagogical factors scientific foundation and approval needed to form attitudinal prosodic structures to be executed in a second language communication of the future English teachers.The research methods are theoretical, empirical, diagnostic and statistical. The novelty of the research consists of the following items: the pedagogical conditions contributing to the effective work at prosody execution in English utterances are stated for the first time. The concept content of the essence and structure of the phenomenon “prosody of attitudes” has been examined. The efficiency criteria and indicators of the becoming English language teachers have been determined. The levels of attitudinal prosodic actualization in English communication are characterized. The aims and content forming stages of the professional knowledge, skills and abilities in the second language oral speech training of the future English teachers have been defined. The model of the pedagogical conditions realization needed to form attitudinal prosodic structures to be executed in a second language communication of the future English teachers have been developed.The theory and practice of professionally oriented English training of students from linguistic establishments of higher education has been successfully developed. The results are the following ones: the methodology of developing attitudinal prosody skills in the second language oral speech of the becoming English language teachers, the training program, a system of exercises (introductory, operating and functional) and the techniques of presenting the pedagogical conditions needed to form attitudinal prosodic structures to be executed in a second language communication of the future English teachers have been developed and introduced into practice of professional development. The degree of approval is high. The corresponding branches are pedagogical, institute of higher education.
