Buzko S. Lexicon of Ukrainian Postmodern Prose.

The object is lexical organization of texts of Ukrainian postmodern prose. The aim is to describe the features of lexical organization of texts of Ukrainian postmodern prose. The methods to descriptive, contextual analysis, distributive and component analysis, quantities-statistical. The dissertation deals with the complex analysis of lexical organization of Ukrainian postmodern prose texts. The term "stylistic labelling of linguistic means" is defined, the scientific approaches to the classification of stylistic labelled lexicon are described, the functional-stylistic peculiarities of stylistic labelled vocabulary which is used in the postmodern belles-lettres texts are analysed. In the sphere of usage stylistic labelled units of language the author includes not only normative stable realization of language system but units which do not belong to facts of literary language but are results of speech approved in public practice (colloquial vocabulary, local and social dialecticisms, surzhyk elements). The occasional word combinations which result from writers' deliberate violation of norms of lexical-semantic compatibility of words are distinguished among occasional lexical units. The lexicon of postmodern belles-lettres texts are analysed in aspect of individual writers' contribution to language-stylistic nature of modern artistic expressions, from the position of reflection of recent world outlook and language changes.
