Exactly these processes laid the basis of globalization, the problems of which are examined today within the framework of UNCTAD. Research of objective international personality of UNCTAD, the character of legal relationships with other international organizations of the UN system and beyond it, with international non-governmental organizations, the representatives of civil society allows to estimate the role of UNCTAD as a basic institution of world community, within the framework of which key issues of trade, investment, technological and financial activity of the states, as well as the problems of economic inequality and development are examined, studied and decided.
