Essay

The thesis is devoted to the research of the essence of modern labor market, its specifics in Ukraine and Russia and to the problems of their integration into the European labor space. The paper includes multi-factor analysis of European labor market: it reveals the influence of demographic, national, regional, sectoral factors on labor markets establishment and integration. The main regularities of labor markets evolution, key integration requirements are defined by the analysis, as well as the state policy parameters for Ukraine and Russia in the sphere of labor market development, and the priority directions for national labor markets integration in to the European labor space. Based on the research results, the thesis provides an argumentation of measures concerning birth rates, migration levels, pensions and payroll system, social inclusion regulation, ministries and nongovernmental institutions coordinative efforts in the labor market. The active state labor market policy modeling, methods and principles of national labor markets integration within the European labor space are proposed.
