Horbatyuk O. Scientific and methodic heritage of Mykola Lysenko

The thesis is dedicated to integral research of scientific and pedagogical activity and creative heritage of Mykola Mykolayovych Lysenko in the context of socio-cultural and educational realia of the second half of the XXth century. The creative biography of the educator was analized against the background of social and educational changes, their influence on the formation of the educator's conception of the world, there was given characteristics of his views and valuation of the meaning of creative heritage and educational activity for further development of the pedagogical science and school historical education. On the basis of the analyses, systematization and summing up of considerable number of various sources main stages of life and activity of M. Lysenko (1914-1995) were determined; it was proved that this figure went down in history of domestic historical and methodical thought and historical education of the second half of the XXth century as an outstanding pedagogue, historian, unusually prolific scientific-organizator, an author of thorough works on the problems of teaching methods of History of Ukraine and Local History, working out of new content of school historical education, grounding of active methods of teaching history, theory and practice of teaching history at school.
