The dissertation work is a theoretical and experimental research of the problem of future Computer Science teacher professional competence formation by means of modelling. Essence and interconnection of basic research notions are analysed; the formation of competence approach is examined in the context of the considered problem; modelling means are worked out. The criteria characteristics of the professional competence are defined. The effectiveness of the future Computer Science teacher professional competence formation technology by means of modelling is worked out, theoretically grounded and experimentally tested. Basic results of experimental work are inculcated in the educational process of higher educational establishments.
