Research on explanation of peculiarities and definition of risk behaviour personal determinants of divers. The work suggests theoretical and empirical analysis of phenomenon of risk appetites of divers. Diagnostic techniques to assess explained factors of inclination to risk and of personal determinants examined in correlation with them have been substantiated. Psychological profiles of divers with different degree of inclination to risk have been developed. On the basis of empirical data, 4 groups of sport divers with dominating mono-modal type of inclination to risk have been identified and characterized: group with dominating emotional-risky type of inclination to risk, group with dominating cognitive component of inclination to risk, group with dominating active component of inclination to risk and group with dominating controlling-regulative inclination to risk.
