Usenko O. Strategy of regional trade and economic integration of Ukraine and the EU

Modern processes of regional trade and economic integration. Scientific proof of the key areas and parameters of strategy of regional trade and economic integration of Ukraine and the EU based on comprehensive analysis of world trends towards modifying forms of integration and EU models of regional integration with third countries. Methods: historical and logical, systematic summarizing, analysis and synthesis, quantity and quality comparison, analysis of facts. EU integration models approved in practice are researched and identified. The experience and summarized specificity of new EU members are analyzed. Areas of influence by interest groups in the EU supranational policy-making process are determined. Proceeding from existing preconditions and mechanisms of shift from cooperation to integration basic provisions of Ukrainian integration model are proved and a set of measures in the context of implementing European integration strategy is developed. Recommendations concerning EU law structuring in terms of conclusion of trade agreements, modern approaches towards regulation of competition policy, protection of intellectual property rights, investment policy and trade in services within the framework of international trade agreements.
