Essay

The thesis has worked on actual scientific-practical task: ground of parameters of finely-dispersed magnetite's quartzite's classification in sediment separator on the basis of biphasic stream velocity field calculation. The researches have established that efficiency of hydraulic classification is caused by presence of separation zones for the set separative grain in the velocity field, their size and particle of narrow hydraulic class, which gets to them. The account of stochastic massmovement, non-stationary velocity field and dependence, from the variable concentration of hard phase ensures the receipt of the scientifically grounded technological parameters of finely-dispersed components of polydispersed suspension classification for the set separative grain Redistribution of stream by plates inclined under the corner of 60° to horizon and optimum values of the radial hydraulic separator productivity 195...225 m3/h and concentrations of dispersible phase in an initial product 15…17 % ensures the increase of index of the rational use of separator volume and efficiency of hydraulic classification for the separative grain with fall velocity 0,25 mm/s accordingly on 48,9 and 18,0 %, due to this the mass fraction of iron in concentrate is increased on 0,8 %.
