Kovalenko E. Initial material of onjon shallot in breebing at varieties of different uses in the northern Steppe of Ukraine.

The object of the researches is variability of signs of an initial material of onion shallot under the influence of selection in the course of creation of new sorts. The purpose is selection of an initial selection material for creation of a high-yielding sort of onion shallot with high food value for long storage in the conditions of northern Steppe of Ukrain. Methods were visual, measurement, weight-class,chemical, mathematically-statistical,settlement ones. In result it was collected a collection and it was spent an estimation of an initial material of onion shallot to economic valuable signs depending on use direction. It ware studied variability and correlation between them. It was offered a method clustering features for classification of an initial material of onion shallot to economic-valuable signs. Sources early ripeness, efficiency and highly quality production are allocated. By method of clonal selection it was created sort of onion shallot the Dzhigit high-yielding with weight of leaves (4,0 kg/m2) and bulbs (2,5 kg/m2). For the first time it is spent an estimation of an initial material of onion shallot depending on a direction of its use it is novelty. It is established influence phenotypic variability of morphological signs and efficiency of selections on productivity depending on environment conditions.
