Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the problems of control and assessment of students’ professional preparation in humanities. The peculiarities of control and assessment activity and the pedagogical bases of control and assessment have been determined in the investigation. The essence and structure of the lecturers’ readiness to the control and assessment have been revealed. The real state of the main components formation of lecturers’ readiness to the control and assessment has been determined. The lecturers’ training model for realization of pedagogical bases of control and assessment of students’ professional preparation in humanities has been worked out and approved. The psycho-pedagogical conditions that ensure the effectiveness of the model have been determined.
