Ovcharenko L. The Makariv Yar Centre of Folk Pottery in Ukraine (the Late 19th – the Early 20th Century)

Object: folk pottery in the system traditionally domestic culture of Luganshchyna in the second half of XIX - first half of ХХ century. Purpose: complex research of folk pottery of the Makariv Yar as a substantial component traditionally domestic culture of Luganshchyna in the second half of XIX - first half of ХХ century. Methods: complex analysis, comparative-historical, structural-functional, historical-genetic, typological, statistical. Results: first in the Ukrainian ethnology and pottery complex historic-ethnographic research of the most powerful center of pottery culture in Luganshchyna is carried out, technology of Makariv Yar pottery is first reproduced; its role and place is found out in the system traditionally domestic culture of region. Sphere of the use: for optimization and improvement of educational process in modern artistic educational establishments of Ukraine; for development of curricula, programs from folk artistic creation, in particular from history of the Ukrainian folk pottery.
