Kostyuchenko Y. Legal regulation of the Ukraine-EU cooperation.

Dissertation is dedicated to legal analysis of cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union. The author identifies historical stages of relations' establishment between Ukraine and the European Union. The contractual mechanism of bilateral cooperation, based on Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) is analyzed. The author carries out comparative analysis of institutional mechanism, created on the basis of PCA, and agreements on association. The basic legal instruments of European Union policies with respect to Ukraine, resulting from the European Policy of Neighbourhood and Easter Partnership, are examined in further details. The author suggests distinguishing a "pre-integration" level, which is characterized by a complex of preparatory acts before the introduction of association between Ukraine and the European Union. For the first time in the doctrine the legal nature, principles, mechanism of implementation of the Association Agenda 2009 are analyzed. The author distinguishes additional mechanism of Ukraine's attraction into integration processes -participation in agencies and programmes of the EU.
