The object of study – dependent personality. The purpose of study: to deepen theoretical representations about structural organization and functioning of the dependent personality in codependent marriage. The methods: complex of psychodiagnostic techniques, methods of check of probability of divergences for untied selections, correlation and factors analyses. Novelty: for the first time are revealed: 1) structural features of the dependent personality; 2) the characterological structures, patenting and inhibiting dependent personality development, and also most proof combinations of codependent marriage characterological structures; 3) attributes of infringement of adaptation in dependent marriage. The practical value of the received results consists in creation of psychometric passport of man's variant of a technique of diagnostics of the dependent personality, and also in addition of the patogenetic proved principles of psychotherapy, directed on clearing of dependence.
