Kryvenko M. The Library "Studion" in Lviv (1909-1940): Histiry and Present State of the Collection

In the dissertation, on the basis of archival documents, which are introduced into the scientific use for the first time, the reasons and circumstances of foundation of the library "Studion" are exposed; the history of its buildings, chronological sequence of the collection formation has been described; work organization is reconstructed; role and contribution of its employees is revealed; users of the library and their preferences are enlightened. Special attention is paid to its liquidation and transference of its books and manuscripts collections. On the basis of the found and registered samples of the dispersed collection, the reconstruction of the composition and content of the library has been carried out, and the present day state of the collection has been described.
