Essay

The work presents a research of basic preconditions and determinants of regional cooperation in Southeast Asia in political and economic sphere as well as in security policy. Sufficient part of the thesis is dedicated to the formation of the institutional framework and conceptual approaches to regional cooperation in the case of ASEAN as the most influential regional organization. New institutional cooperation initiatives in Southeast Asia in the context of traditional and nontraditional challenges to political stability analyzed herein as well.
