Blazhevich N. Cooperation and Communications between Ukrainian and Soviet Union Academies of Sciences (1920-1980)

The dissertation investigates functions of the Academy science and their implementation in various historical periods, makes historical reconstruction of communications forms between Ukrainian and Russian academies of sciences, evaluates contributions from Ukrainian scientists in the development of basic sciences in Russia and contributions from Russian scientists in establishment and development of the academy science in Ukraine, organization of new scientific institutions in the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, outlines principles and factors for effective partnerships between Ukrainian and Russian academies of sciences against the globalization background and in light of integration in the European and worldwide international area and innovation-driven economic transformations. The dissertation is built on vast factual materials, including archives, on the Academy science history, analyzed and interpreted from the methodological perspective with respect to scientific communications and science organization.
