The dissertation is dedicated to exposure and analysis of influences of psychological factors of self-development of the senior pupils in studying environment. The following stages of self-development as self-knowledge, self-planning, self-realization are selected. The basic lines of self development are the development of subjectivity, personal and informative development. This approach allowed define the criteria of self-development in the senior school age. The influences of three types of self-development factors are selected and analyzed: individual-psychological, social-psychological, psychological - pedagogical. The positive influence of educational environment of the specialized or professional orientated establishments on self-development of pupils is exposed. Psychologically-pedagogical measures of activation of the self-development of pupils through stimulation of its internal and external mechanisms developed and approved. Exposed efficiency of stimulating methods of self-development helped to elaborate the recommendations for the school psychologists and teachers of senior grades.
