Essay

The dissertation is about decreasing power losses caused by reactive power and current unbalance in transformer windings by reactive power compensation. It is analyzed existent methods to effectiveness increasing of AC traction power supply. The author considered methods of energy process evaluating in traction power systems and proposed some improvements. Modes of traction substation working were analyzed on experimental data. Method for rational compensation currents was received and it's using in control system of regulated compensation devices are showed.
