Essay

It is formulated the requirement to the basic cartographic materials and the methodical chart of selection and estimation of heterogeneous information is resulted for their integration in the unique geoinformational environment. Subject of maps, necessary for creation of nature protection object is grounded. The features of creation of objects of nature protections within the limits of cities are described. The typical structure of the base of geographical information for GIS of nature protection object is developed. The method of automation of functional zoning is offered by facilities of geoinformational technologies. The prospects of application of GIS on nature protection are described.
