Object - self- esteem of the senior preschoolers; objective - theoretical justification and experimental research of the psychological conditions of self- esteem formation of the senior preschoolers; methods - theoretical, empirical, results processing and interpretations; novelty - influence of the apprehension operations and cognitions on state of the particular self- esteem of the senior preschoolers has been identified for the first time; conceptual base of the self- esteem experimental research has been justified and system program of an adequate self- esteem formation of the senior preschoolers has been developed; idea of the psychological characteristics, indicators and qualitative substantive characteristics of the senior preschoolers' self- esteem has been specified and deepened; connections between self- esteem, level of assertion and apprehension activity of the senior preschoolers have been corroborated; theoretical justification and practical testing of the organization effectiveness of the educational process innovative forms in conditions of the preschool educational establishment have been further developed; results are the following - development of the conceptual base of the self- esteem research and system program of formation of the senior preschoolers' self- esteem; ensuring of the methodical instruments of the self- esteem psychological characteristics revelation and its development conditions; development and introduction of the psychological and methodical complex "Self- esteem and intellectual sphere of a preschooler" which can be used in the preschool education practice while making educational and developmental programs for preschoolers, by professors during giving the courses of age, pedagogical psychology and psychology of personality, while professional introductory and psycho-pedagogical practice of students of the speciality "psychology"; field - psychology
