Object - school psychological adaptation; оbjective - to determine those peculiarities of personality which accompany the adaptive period while passing to the basic school and their dynamics subject to the adaptive process purposeful management; methods - theoretical and methodological analysis, systematization, generalization, observation, conversation, flight experiment, psycho-pedagogical experiment, mathematical statistics methods; novelty - it has been revealed for the first time that school adaptation level while passing to the basic school is connected with identification peculiarities, personal adaptation, attitude to oneself and school; concepts of peculiarities of school adaptation, school motivation and anxiety interaction have been broadened as well as those of possibilities of the purposeful formation of school adaptive abilities while passing to the basic school; peculiarities of the adaptation personal mechanisms effect while passing to the basic school have been specified; approach to adaptation as to the integral psychological notion has been further developed; characteristics of peculiarities of the pupils' school and personal adaptation while passing to the basic school has been further developed; results - .creation of a developmental and correction program aimed at adaptive abilities development, pupils' adaptive potential and their school anxiety level decrease; identification of peculiarities and regularities of younger teenagers' adaptive process dynamics while passing to the basic school that can be implemented into the practice of diagnostic, developmental and correction activity of school psychologists and can be used for improving of organization of the educational activity with younger teenagers as well as in the course of the professional teachers and practical psychologists training; field - psychology
