Essay

Analysis of development tendencies in generic training package designs was made, with particular focus on distant learning tools. Peculiarities of developing competencies in marketing professionals were identified. Marketing as a specific form of business and social activity was considered. Job description (professiogramme) of a typical marketing specialist was developed. Structure of professional competencies of a marketing specialist was itemized, pedagogical conditions of their development described. Marketing training methods kit for distant learning was implemented as part of the educational process, methodology of its application was developed. Efficiency of the distant training kit implementation in teaching marketing and prospective potentialities from its induction into curriculums of economic higher educational institutions was rationalized through qualitative and quantitative indicators in the course of a formative experiment.
